About the Role
We are now recruiting for a Vendor Replenishment Planner to play a pivotal role in replenishing Accolade Wines inventory within Coles Liquor Distribution Centres, ensuring maximum customer service levels with minimum effective levels of stock.
Reporting to the Head of Coles, you'll be responsible for reviewing system recommended orders, placing orders within inventory rules, and monitoring stock levels. Your efforts will ensure timely and accurate delivery of stock, optimising inventory and reducing costs for both businesses.
This is a permanent part time role (19 hours per week), based in Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities
* Review system recommended orders and promo uplift estimates to identify order quantity required for each DC for each SKU.
* Place orders within inventory ordering rules and monitor slow moving / shelf life (MLOR) / deleted lines.
* Maintain correct order lead times in the ordering system and review ordering frequency based on stock velocity.
* Collaborate with Coles & Accolade Transport teams to manage deliveries to the current supply requirements.
* Facilitate and drive improved cross-functional communication between Commercial teams, Supply Chain, and GBS.
* Optimise stock in DCs based on knowledge of Coles and Accolade requirements.
* Manage stock levels for upcoming promotions + report on forecast / actual uplifts.
* Complete Coles supply reporting to the required timeframes.
What You'll Bring
Ideally you'll have some experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations working with large retailers and an analytical skillset.
You'll be able to demonstrate:
* High level planning and project management skills within FMCG supply chain / logistics / operations
* Intermediate / advanced Excel skills
* Experience with process optimisation & commitment to meet targets
* Team Player with a sense of urgency and accountability
* Tertiary Qualification (Highly desirable)
* Collaborative approach with continuous improvement mindset
