About your new role We have a fantastic new opportunity for WHS Manager covering NSW, reporting directly into the General Manager for Recycling. •Actively participate in annual Safety planning activities and review meetings with Head of Safety and Safety Team •Liaise on a regular basis with Business Unit Managers to identify key areas for safety improvement and opportunities •Undertake and maintain a strategic risk review ®gister across all operational hazards •Develop safety initiatives to address areas for improvement •Monitor activities against plan to ensure effective and timely delivery and adjust where necessary •Promote a positive Chain of Responsibility culture throughout the organisation •Develop annual safety audit, inspection and observation schedule ensuring targeted activities focus on high-risk operational tasks About you •Undergraduate qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety, Behavioural Sciences or relevant area/s •Risk Management systems and application to operational requirements • Lead Auditor in Safety Management Systems (ISO 45000) • Workers Compensation programmes, claims management and premium calculations • Digital incident management systems Proven experience within the mining, construction, waste management, resource recovery, manufacturing and/or engineering industry at a senior level.
