How will I help?
As a Technology Domain Owner you will be accountable for end-to-end service management, risk, delivery and financials for the Consumer Risk and Regulatory portfolio of work. This includes, but not limited to, programs such as Financial Crime Compliance, Remediation and potential other compliance programs. This is a new role and an exciting opportunity to be part of Consumer Technology Team supporting the Chief Operating Office.
* Setting a clear vision and strategy, communicate ‘the story’ well to key stakeholders and the rest of the village
* Partner with senior stakeholders across LOB and Tech to drive and implement the Technology strategy
* Provide guidance to key LOB business stakeholders to foster the right standard of engagement, communication (and management of expectations), issue management and ultimately satisfaction with the activities of Technology
* Support the Heads of to actively manage demand to ensure its appropriately prioritised, funded, resourced and aligned with the LOB and Technology strategy
* Structure, plan and execute major project activities, ensuring efficient and quality execution, on budget/schedule delivery and full realisation of expected benefits.
* Taking accountability for service/product decisions in the fast-paced environment
* Managing cross-squad and village dependencies, with a focus on driving collaboration
* Actively manage supplier/3rd party partners and vendors
* Ensuring the activities of the village remain within risk appetite
* People leadership accountabilities, including developing strategic workforce plans and developing village capability and a higher and more consistent standard of maturity in conjunction with the Heads of.
* Build a highly engaged workforce through role modelling Westpac’s leadership standard
