Your New Role
* Design and analyse structural elements for buildings in sectors such as aged care, education, mixed-use, hospitals, and public infrastructure.
* Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to develop efficient and effective structural solutions.
* Prepare detailed design calculations, drawings, and specifications.
* Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction.
* Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
What You'll Need to Succeed
* Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
* 5+ years experience proven experience in structural design and analysis for building projects.
* Proficiency in using structural design software such as Microstran, Inducta Software Suite, CheckSteel, CheckWind, ClearCalcs, Hilti Profis, and Bluebeam. Familiarity with Spacegass, Strand7, and ETABS will also be considered.
* Strong understanding of Australian building codes and standards and exposure to Australian projects essential
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
