This position works as part of a group practice, with two surgeons and the potential for expansion as a third surgeon joins the practice in 2025. This offers an ideal environment for advancing your career in a growing surgical specialist group.The position is a permanent full-time role, offering 38 hours per week (Monday to Friday). The standard hours are 8:30am to 4:30pm, four days a week, and 8:30am to 5:00pm one day a week. There may be occasional flexibility required for later clinic finishes, up to 6:00pm, but no additional overtime or weekend work is expected.Key Duties And Responsibilities Include (but Not Limited To) Front desk reception, warmly greeting patients, managing incoming telephone calls and email correspondence and assisting with general patient enquries Clinic preparation, preparing and running patient clinics, coordinating patient files for consultations and preparing files for external satellite clinics Processing of patient billing and receipting for consultations Assisting with patient quotes for surgery, scheduling patient surgery - including preparation of surgery lists, and managing patient post-operative follow ups Support the preparation, organisation and secure handling of medical records and documents required for legal cases Contribute to the team by assisting the practice manager and secretarial team with various administrative tasks as needed. To Be Closely Considered, You Will Require A minimum of 1-3 years experience working within a private specialist practice Previous experience using a medical software platform such as Genie and/or Gentu Motivation to learn – if you have a keen interest in the medical/healthcare field and a willingness to learn, we want to hear from you!
