Job Opportunity: Electrician at Bauxite Hills Mine Location: Bauxite Hills Mine Position Type: FIFO 15:13 roster with 12-hour shifts Schedule: 1 week of dayshift, 1 week of nightshift, with 1 day changeover in between Night Shift Allowance: $4.08 per hour Our client is seeking skilled and dedicated Electricians to join their team at Bauxite Hills Mine!This dynamic FIFO (Fly-In, Fly-Out) role on a 15:13 roster with 12-hour shifts involves a wide range of electrical services across the site's fixed plant, camp facilities, and auxiliary equipment, contributing to installations, maintenance, repairs, and testing.If you are a proactive problem-solver with a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence, this opportunity could be a great fit for you. Please note that mining operations are seasonal, running only in the dry season (April through December) Key Responsibilities: Electrical Services: Provide diverse electrical support across fixed plant, camp facilities, and auxiliary equipment. Installations & Maintenance: Conduct new installations, troubleshoot breakdowns, perform preventative maintenance, and repairs. Site Equipment Management: Service key site equipment, including STPs, WTPs, crushers, screens, conveyors, and spreaders. Safety Compliance: Ensure all tasks comply with SOPs, site safety, and mining regulations. Collaborative Work Environment: Work closely with supervisors and contribute to team goals and quality standards. Technical Guidance: Provide expertise in electrical systems and troubleshooting methods to team members. Required Skills and Qualifications: Australian Electrical Trade Qualification QLD Electrical License Additional Tickets: EWP, Forklift, AC ticket (highly regarded) Experience with PLC/Instrumentation Class C Driver's License First Aid & CPR/LVR Certification Tooling: Own tools specific to the trade Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills Team Collaboration: Ability to work and contribute to a diverse and inclusive team environment Cultural Sensitivity: Awareness and respect for diversity and equity in the workplace Ready to power up your career?
