Corporate Counsel – Sydney Legal – Construction Hybrid – Competitive Salary About the role A leading global organisation with a focus on large scale projects is currently seeking an experienced corporate counsel to join its In-House team. This role will report directly to the General Counsel and be part of a high-performing, established In-House team. Applicants with additional project delivery experience are also encouraged to apply. Key responsibilities Providing advice to business units and senior management on significant legal issues and representing the company's interests on large scale bids and their associated contracts (ECIs, MCCs, EPC/EPCMs, D&C, Alliances and JVs) across the rail, road, defence, new energy, industrial and transport sectors. Ownership and responsibility for the legal service of significant projects. Supporting the projects EOI through to contract close. Addressing both upstream and downstream contractual arrangements. Building relationships with key stakeholders and external legal counsel. About You Ideally a minimum of 6-10 years PQE gained within a renowned In-House organisation or private practice firm. Previous experience advising on and negotiating a range of contract types. Enjoy working autonomously as well as part of a collegiate team. Be solutions-focused with the ability to prioritise workloads. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
