The Opportunity
An integral part of the construction team, this role will see you take on Project Manager responsibilities through construction phase of project delivery. Some key responsibilities include:
* Being the first point of communication with the client; managing expectations, resolving issues and ensuring successful delivery of outcomes
* Coordinating with a diverse range of stakeholders in the project including authorities, developers, clients and contractors.
* Oversight of all matters relating to budget, resources, project health and project planning
* Oversee the contractors compliance on the construction project, with a strong focus on the review of their quality, environmental and safety systems
* Liaising with internal teams across a multidisciplinary office to resolve client queries and design challenges
About You
You are an experienced Civil Engineer with a proven track record successfully delivering land development projects and/or teams. You thrive in an environment which provides you with a breadth of responsibility and role diversity. The selected candidate will have access to senior team members to collaborate with and enjoy a working environment that encourages employee empowerment through problem solving and decision making. You will come to us with:
* Extensive site based experience in construction administration within land development or infrastructure projects
* Exposure to engineering design and solid understanding of the design process
* The ability to communicate effectively with our clients and contractors to achieve great results within a complex project environment
* A keen interest in ongoing professional development; desire to learn new skills and the drive to continue to challenge yourself
* Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering or Construction Management will be highly regarded
