Education and training opportunities are available for the successful candidate.Mater Private Hospital Rockhampton's perioperative services comprise five operating rooms, two day surgery rooms, seven recovery bays, and a central sterilising Unit.The Theatre Complex offers pre- and post-operative recovery care, as well as specialised endoscopic and laparoscopic procedures. The surgical specialties include orthopaedic, obstetric, gynecologic, ENT, oral, urology, pediatric, general, vascular, spinal, and ophthalmic surgeries.As a Endorsed Enrolled Nurse, you will provide patient-centred nursing care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse on duty. Core responsibilities include supporting patients in the activities of daily living, assisting in meeting basic human needs, and recognising the normal and abnormal assessment, intervention, and evaluation of patient health and functional status with ongoing communication with the Registered Nurse.As a Registered Nurse, you will use your extensive experience to provide essential support to our patients and Clinical Nurses in activities designed to aid the sustainability of the department and assist with the progression of service improvement.About youYou will enjoy working in a busy and rewarding environment where you can become part of a team of professionals who take pride in providing the highest levels of patient care.
