The Position:
1. Meet food preparation and service requirements.
2. Maintain hygienic food service techniques during service.
3. Take responsibility for your designated food section and station.
4. Be familiar with the other kitchen sections, promoting flexibility and productivity.
5. Ensure all food produced is in line with kitchen recipes and standards.
6. Prepare and cook all food items in specific area of responsibility.
7. Check all food is stored and handled as per current food health and hygiene regulations.
Pre-Requisites:
8. Cert III in Commercial Cookery preferred
9. Experience in producing patisserie and bakery items in bulk
10. Police Clearance less than 3 months old
11. Experience in high volume bulk catering and function/banquets environment
12. Remote mining village experience highly desirable
13. Customer service driven
14. Motivated Self-Starter and Team Player
15. Ability to work within the scope/menu
16. Must be able to work on a 2:1 FIFO Roster
