The Position:
Based Remotely in Adelaide, the SA/NT Key Account Manager role is a hybrid WFH/on-the-road role where your main duties will be to market all the company's products in defined geographic territory, using Direct Sales involving face-to-face contact or virtual meetings with customers, including engineering houses, manufactures, distributors and end users.
As this role is tasked with managing the company's corporate and mid-tier customers in Adelaide, Alice Springs and Darwin and also wider South Australia/Northern Territories, there will be regular travel to regional locations to visit customers' sites.
This role would suit someone who is at home presenting to C-Level customers in the boardroom as they are meeting with on-site mine management teams.
On any given day your duties will involve:
1. Develop client relationships and promote the sale of all products and services
2. Maintain customer care by outlining specific call plans, objectives, and outcomes
3. Work with internal teams to develop innovative strategies to drive sales initiatives
4. Develop a network of current and potential business partners
5. Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and dynamic product presentations
6. Develop a sound knowledge of company products and technologies
7. General sales and operational reporting duties
The Package:
For the successful candidate the client is able to offer the following package:
8. A base salary of up to $100k PA + Superannuation
9. A company car, with toll tag and fuel card
10. A sales incentive bonus scheme - worth, on average, up to $60k PA - but uncapped
The Candidate:
To be considered for this role it is essential that candidates have a background in selling either electric, mechanical or engineering parts into OEM, Electrical Contractors, Specifiers among other industries.
The ideal candidate would also have the following attributes:
11. 5+ years Field Sales experience is Essential
12. Proven ability to meet and exceed given targets
13. Self-motivation
14. Experience in commercial competitor awareness
15. Customer Service qualities
16. Strong Relationship Builder
17. Excellent communication skills
18. Computer literate with sound knowledge Zoom / Microsoft Teams,
19. Social Media Networking skills
