We are on the lookout for a skilled Systems Administrator to ensure the effective maintenance of Ground Systems and the seamless integration of any changes in a controlled manner.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with various design and specialty disciplines (including software, hardware, safety, security, and support systems engineering) to ensure proper integration of products into the overall solution, meeting customer needs.Consult with project teams to ensure that the engineering scope aligns with sustainment requirements.Work together with Boeing and industry partners to align BDA work methods with best practices.Utilize your expertise to troubleshoot issues within the products effectively.Assist with TMS administration tasks, including password resets, software updates, and equipment replacements.Compile and submit monthly security vulnerability reports, promptly reporting any changes that may affect device risk profiles.Maintain service patches, antivirus, firewall, software, and drivers in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance cybersecurity.Oversee system access control, configuration, backup and recovery, user account management, and data transfers, including classified data exports.Review and verify data export classifications to ensure compliance with protective marking and logging requirements.Perform additional duties as assigned by the Team Lead or Manager.Experience/QualificationsEssential:A Certificate IV in IT or equivalent is preferred, covering a broad range of relevant skills, including:HardwareNetworkingSoftwareApplicationsWebCybersecurityTroubleshooting; or alternativelyMinimum of 5 years Systems Administrator experienceProven Experience in technical problem solvingApplicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements for NV2 security clearance.Desirable:Experience with specific systems such as Red Hat or Cisco is beneficial, but versatility in IT knowledge is prioritizedWindows, Linux and VMware systems design and administrationExperience in delivering/integrating systems within Defence project environmentsExperience with complex communications systems deployed in challenging environmentsAn understanding of Systems Engineering principles and lifecycle management with experience in Systems Engineering and/or systems integration in a complex project environment essentialA current NV1 or NV2 security clearance.What's on offer?We are committed to fostering a culture of growth and development, encouraging our employees to enhance their skills and improve business processes.
