Apprentice Pastry Cook/Pastry Cook - Cake DecoratorSwiss Patisserie is a family run business providing specialty coffee and traditional Swiss cakes, pastries, breads and chocolates.We are currently seeking a confident, friendly and outgoing full time apprentice pastry cook or a part time pastry chef - cake decorator.Monday-Saturday, 6am starts.Successful applicants must have a passion for the food industry, be self-motivated and willing to learn, and be able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, lively kitchen.Responsibilities:Weighing and preparing ingredients.Preparing fillings and creams.Baking and finishing cakes.Making sandwiches, focaccias, and fruit platters.About You:Attention to detail, enthusiastic and hard-working.Well presented, friendly, and reliable.A positive attitude to learning and able to follow instructions.Be passionate about baking.*To be eligible for an Australian Apprenticeship you must be an Australian Citizen or a Permanent Resident.
