Job Title: Telecommunications Field Engineer

About the Role
* Perform installation, swaps, and configuration of telecommunications equipment, including headframes, BBUs, RRUs, microwave systems, and radio antennas.
* Troubleshoot and repair network faults efficiently to minimize downtime.
* Conduct network testing to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
* Collaborate with Indigo Links' network construction team to implement approved designs and ensure projects are completed within client-specified timeframes.
* Maintain accurate network specifications and standard documentation, ensuring all updates are recorded in Indigo Links' SharePoint and shared with relevant stakeholders.
* Track and report on all projects in the pipeline, providing regular updates to management and clients.
Requirements
* Technical Expertise: Solid understanding of fixed-line and wireless networks, as well as civil infrastructure.
* Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Design Competency: Ability to interpret and implement network designs effectively.
* Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly MS Excel and SharePoint.
* Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders, including management, clients, and field technicians.
Qualifications and Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Telecommunications, or related field).
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in an engineering role within telecommunications projects.
