Consulting & Generalist HR (Human Resources & Recruitment)Full timeAbout the roleAs a HR Business Partner at Hanwha Defense Australia, you will play a crucial role in supporting the strategic human resources needs of our organisation. Reporting to the Head of HR, this full-time position is based in our office in Melbourne, VIC 3000 and will involve providing expert HR guidance and solutions to our business leaders and employees.Your primary areas of responsibilities: Collaborate with business leaders to understand their goals and provide HR solutions that support business objectives.Address employee concerns, conduct investigations, and resolve conflicts in a fair and consistent manner.Identify and implement initiatives to improve organisational effectiveness, culture, and employee engagement.Ensure compliance with labour laws, company policies, and industry regulations.Analyse HR data to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Prepare monthly reports and Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) reporting.Manage and optimize the HR system to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.In collaboration with the wider HR team, design and implement reward and recognition programs to motivate and retain employees.Assist managers with performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and performance reviews.Oversee outsourced HR services such as the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition (TA) team to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires and effectively manage the exit and offboarding process for departing employees.What we're looking for Demonstrated experience and expertise in the management and delivery of HR services within a complex organisation.Strong understanding of the full HR lifecycle with in-depth knowledge of HR best practices, labour laws, and regulations.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships.Experience in leading HR projects and initiatives that deliver measurable business impact.Commercial acumen and the ability to understand and support the strategic goals of the business.Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field.What we offerAt Hanwha Defense Australia, we are committed to creating an environment where our people can thrive.
