What you’ll be doing:
* Manage the sales process from beginning to end, securing introductions with decision makers while providing support to users, achieving, and surpassing your sales quota
* Develop a pipeline of new business opportunities within a defined sales territory; this includes new prospective customers and within an existing customer base
* Provide prospective new business clients with an understanding of Preqin’s products and offerings while developing new relationships with key stakeholders at each firm
* Manage all aspects of the renewal cycle for our client’s subscription relationships, with a focus on expansion opportunities within accounts and subscription renewals. This includes proactive and consultative client support, ensuring high retention and net revenue growth
* Provide clients and prospects with detailed proposals, product demonstrations, and consultations (in person preferred, or via phone)
What you’ll bring to us:
* Minimum 3 years of transferable sales experience in account management or new business roles, preferably in financial services, alternative investments, B2B SaaS sales, or solution selling
* Demonstrated success in meeting quota and retention targets
* Strong negotiation skills for renewal upsells, cross-selling, and product add-ons
* Familiarity with financial market data space, alternative assets, and financial services industries
