This role calls for a hands-on leader with an established track record in orthopaedic sales management or substantial experience managing high-performing teams in medical device sales for operating theatre environments. You will lead from the front, supporting your team in all aspects of the sales cycle, from relationship-building to close, while providing clear vision, guidance, and mentorship.Key Responsibilities: Sales Leadership : Set and achieve sales targets, define strategic objectives, and ensure the team is equipped with the tools, training, and support to exceed expectations. Team Development & Culture : Foster an inclusive, dynamic, and high-performance culture that encourages growth, resilience, and accountability within your team. Strategy & Execution : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on sales strategies, and drive market penetration and brand growth in line with company goals. Client Engagement : Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, surgical teams, and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with their needs and our service excellence standards. Market Intelligence : Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor actions, and emerging opportunities, and translate this intelligence into actionable insights for the team. Performance Tracking : Monitor team performance, implement improvements where needed, and provide regular reports to senior management on sales activities, growth opportunities, and areas of development. Ideal Candidate Profile: Proven experience in orthopaedic sales management or in leading medical device teams focused on operating theatres and procedural sales. Exceptional leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to build, inspire, and retain high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets, with an analytical mindset and the ability to adapt strategies based on market feedback.
