About the role:
We are seeking a Grade 3 Physiotherapist to join our subacute team in a temporary / parental leave position on the Mary Coram Unit (MCU) at the Graham St campus. This role is largely based at our Graham St site on the Mary Coram Unit (MCU) and has a diverse caseload of rehabilitation, geriatric evaluation and management (GEM) and palliative care patients.
As the senior Physiotherapist, you will provide leadership and support to the grade 1 & 2 Physiotherapists, Allied Health Assistants, undergraduate Physiotherapy students, MCU@Home and the wider multi-disciplinary team. You will provide clinical expertise to complex cases, support staff supervision, assist with relevant competency and in-service training, and be responsible for the planning, review and implementation of quality initiatives to enhance the delivery of high-quality Physiotherapy services to subacute patients.
We are seeking a motivated team player within the multi-disciplinary team and the wider GV Health Physiotherapy team who embodies the GV Health values in their daily working life, has exceptional communcation skills and provides excellent patient care and advocacy.
This role is open to suitably experienced grade 2 Physiotherapists.
