About the Role:
There are 2 permanent part time positions at EFT (48 hours per fortnight) within the Otolaryngology Department. You will be responsible for care of Paediatric ENT patients, working with other health professionals in a multidisciplinary setting.
What You’ll Achieve:
• Provide expert clinical knowledge and skills, in the assessment and management of patients within the ENT department
• Acts as a clinical resource, advisor and technical expert
• Collaborate and consult with healthcare teams, patients and families/carers to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring the delivery of high quality, safe and efficient care
Your Skills and Experience:
• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) administered through the Australia Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing personal and professional development as evidenced in a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) record/Professional Practice Portfolio (PPP)
• Post graduate qualification in the area of practice (or willing to work towards)
• Experience in audit / quality improvement / projects is desirable

The Otolaryngology Department at The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) provides a full range of clinical services for the management of children with conditions involving the ear, nose and sinuses, the throat and the airway. This is with close association with several other departments within the hospital and especially respiratory medicine, neonatal care, intensive care, audiology and speech pathology.
