Based out of Wacol, you will be responsible for delivering and assisting with the preparation of accurate estimates as well as TOC / RAMP Submissions for water and sewer infrastructure projects in Southeast Qld.The role suits an individual who enjoys working as part of a high performing team, with the ability to think outside the box and lots of opportunity to learn and grow within the role and company.Responsibilities of the role include:Prepare timely and accurate cost estimates, quantities, prices and costingAttend site inspections and identify site specific conditions and their impact on project costs and programProgram and sequence works in a practical and efficient manner and identify production rates and program in consultation with our delivery teamInterpret specification and standards and assess their impact on project costsDevelop accurate estimates through first principles pricing of direct and indirect job costsGenerating a TOC / RAMP estimateReview client's designs for opportunities and omissionsPrepare request for quotation for subcontractor and/or suppliersDemonstrate accurate analysis and assessment of subcontractor/ supplier quotesPartake in construction methodology reviews to arrive at most cost effective construction solutionDetailed tender handover and support into pre-contracts and delivery for successful bidsBenefitsAttractive remuneration packageConfirmed 5 year program of Infrastructure projects in handCareer development and trainingSupportive and collaborative team environmentSkills & ExperienceThe minimum requirements for the role are as follows:Minimum of 3 years' experience in construction, tendering or project delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure and pipeline construction projectsExperience with Expert Estimator Software is a mustAdvanced skills in Microsoft Suite and OutlookExperience in Developing TOCS / RAMP EstimatesProficient in the use of MS Project/PrimaveraMust be able to manage to timeframes with strong attention to detailExcellent communication skills and ability to build effective relationshipsStrong financial and commercial acumenAbility to liaise positively with internal and external stakeholdersAbility to work in a variety of projects ranging from low to high value tendersCurrent Driver’s LicenseAbout UsDormway is a well-regarded, family run company specializing in the construction of civil infrastructure and pipelines.
