Newcastle Private Hospital is seeking Registered Midwives to join our team – working across the Antenatal and Postnatal ward and Birthing Suites. We have Full-time, Part-time, and Casual work available.

We are a 189-bed, acute, private hospital facility co-located on the John Hunter Campus at Rankin Park. The hospital has 11 theatres including a hybrid theatre and a 15-bed Intensive Care Unit.
We also have a cardiac suite including a cardiac catheter laboratory and a 16-bed Coronary Care Unit. A private maternity suite including 6 birthing suites and a special care baby nursery is available for families in the Newcastle region. Newcastle Private Oncology Centre provides specialty care for individuals and their families/carers undergoing all aspects of cancer treatment and care with both an inpatient unit and day infusion lounge.
The Role An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Registered Midwife to join our team on a full-time/part-time basis. We are looking for an expert midwife, who is committed to excellence, has extensive skills in post-partum care as well as a passion for delivery of woman-centered care.
To succeed in the role as a Registered Midwife, you will need to bring a genuine interest in caring for women and their family through the various stages of pregnancy, childbirth, and postnatal care. You will be an experienced midwife with excellent communication skills and enjoy working in an inclusive and vibrant environment that values and supports our diverse families.

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF - NSW Nurses and Midwives' - Enterprise Agreement 2020-2024, a salary ranging from $35.46 - $49.79 per hour.
