About this role
The Home Care Worker is responsible for providing home care clients with assistance, support, and encouragement of independence to reside in their chosen community. We are looking for committed and enthusiastic, qualified home care workers who have their competency certificate in ‘Assist Clients with Medication’ to become part of our West Moreton Home Care team. This role is a casual position, and we are seeking candidates who are willing to accept shifts with minimal notice when we require unplanned coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide personal care assistance to clients.
* Help clients with cleaning, shopping, meal preparation, and other light housework.
* Assist with clients' medication.
* Provide social support to clients by providing transport and assisting with social outings.

Minimum Requirements:
* Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.
* Completion of the following units of competency: HLTHPS006 – Assist clients with medication; HLTAAP001 - Recognise healthy body systems; CHCCCS031 – Provide individualised support.
* A comprehensively insured vehicle suitable for work purposes.
* Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
* Current First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificates.
* Possess or willing to obtain a current National Police Certificate.
