About the role We are seeking a Cabinet Making Apprentice to join our team. This role would ideally suit a highly motivated individuals with strong attention to detail and the desire to take on responsibility not normally afforded. The position available for the right candidate will be for an Apprenticeship to gain you a Certificate III in Cabinet Making. This position will start with a 3-month probationary period. During this time your duties will include, but are not limited to, Keeping the factory tidy Assembling cabinetry Assisting the tradesman with site installs Performing pickups from suppliers Deliveries to site Stock take Operating edge bander, panel saw and hinge borers As you progress through your apprenticeship you will be trained in all aspects of the trade. Essential Requirements: Demonstrate a positive work attitude Self-motivated worker Ability to work as part of a team. Willing to learn Have strong time management skills Be fast and efficient, and work under pressure Due to the nature of our work the successful applicant will be required to provide proof of Covid Vaccination Certificate. Previous work experience/ pre-apprenticeship is not required but is an advantage. We understand in order to gain experience you have to start somewhere and a good attitude and a willingness to learn can get you a long way.
