We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Corporate Services Manager for the efficient operation of Karitane support services, and to support business continuity across multiple sites.

STATUS: Permanent fulltime, 38 hours per week
CLASSIFICATION: Health Services Manager, Level 2
VACCINATION CATEGORY: A (including full COVID-19 –2 doses and influenza Vaccinations)
RESPONSIBLE TO: Director, Governance and Corporate Services
LINE MANAGEMENT: Maintenance Coordinator, Hotel Services Staff, Food Services Assistants, External Contracted Cleaners
INDUSTRIAL AWARD: The Named NSW (Non-Declared) Affiliated Health Organisations’ (AHO) Health Employees Agreement 2019, up to $106K (maximum)

PURPOSE
The Corporate Services Manager will manage the efficient operation of corporate support services across Karitane sites, which include Hotel Services, Environmental Services, Maintenance and Asset Management. The role requires knowledge and expertise in overseeing multiple sites, rostering, repairs and maintenance, commercial cleaning and hotel services in the health sector.
Reporting to the Director of Governance & Corporate Services, the role will be responsible for ensuring business continuity through the timely allocation of staff and other resources in response to operational needs, and project management experience for new facility builds, relocations and upgrades to existing infrastructure.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA - Each criteria below must be addressed in your cover letter
• Previous experience in corporate services or facilities management, commercial cleaning, food services and maintenance in the health sector
• Management experience including rostering, staff management, and contractors
• Demonstrated understanding of infrastructure project management, procurement, and asset management
• Experience in ordering and stock control, Cbord and Oracle
• Food Safety Supervisor Certification (or willing to work towards)
• Excellent organisation abilities in process management to plan and to prioritise work
• A commitment to the values of Karitane working in partnership with respect, collaboration, excellence and innovation
• Current NSW driver’s licence.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Permanent fulltime role in accordance with The Named NSW (Non-Declared) Affiliated Health Organisations’ Health Employees Agreement - Health Services Manager Level 2.
The majority of Karitane services close for approximately two weeks over the Christmas/New Year period, during which time employees are required to take leave. Karitane supports a smoke free environment including grounds, buildings and vehicles.
