Join us as a Placement Coordinator for Food & Fibre and play a pivotal role in connecting our students with valuable placement opportunities whilst engaging with key stakeholders in industry.In this dynamic role, you will:Industry Engagement Focus: This role is centred on forging and maintaining robust industry relationships across the animal sciences, agriculture, horticulture, conservation, and maritime sectors. Building strong industry partnerships is essential to securing placement and career pathways for our students.Cultivate Industry Partnerships: Develop and sustain strong relationships with industry organisations throughout Gippsland and beyond to enhance placement opportunities for Food & Fibre students.Drive Process Improvement: Collaborate with Program Managers and teaching staff to refine the placement process, ensuring alignment with course and industry standards.Manage Placement Logistics: Oversee the placement database, prepare students for their placements, and manage necessary documentation.Support Student Success: Guide students throughout their placement journey, from preparation to successful completion, while maintaining accurate attendance records and setting clear expectations.As a Placement Coordinator, you excel in communication, influencing, negotiation, and fostering cooperation. You are skilled in building and maintaining effective relationships across the various levels of stakeholders.
