Job Purpose
The occupational therapy service includes assessment and intervention for individuals across the lifespan who experience challenges with daily living, sensory processing, motor skills, cognition, and psychosocial well-being. These may include developmental delays, autism, physical disabilities, neurological conditions, mental health challenges, and rehabilitation needs. We deliver services within the clinic, through telepractice, and face-to-face sessions, as well as visits to early learning centres, schools, workplaces, and homes as part of person-centred care.
Your professional skills will be optimised through a structured onboarding process, including clinical shadowing, collaboration, and professional development both individually and as part of a team. Clinical support is provided as an ongoing regular commitment.

Your Role
Responsibilities
* Provide clinic, telepractice and community-based occupational therapy services to paediatric and adult clients, as well as their stakeholders, including family members, schools, healthcare professionals, NDIS agencies, and support workers.
* Assess and treat individuals with functional, sensory, motor, and cognitive challenges, supporting their independence in daily activities.
* Develop and implement individualised therapy plans, interventions, and strategies to enhance participation and well-being.
* Produce comprehensive reports detailing assessments, treatment plans, and progress.
* Contribute to developing resources for health promotion, marketing, and client-related needs.
Accountabilities
* Accountable to the Clinical Director and Practice Director for meeting key performance indicators.
Qualifications
* A recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* A valid Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening and Australian Federal Police Check.
* A current driver's licence and access to a personal vehicle.
* Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice and adherence to AHPRA's Code of Conduct, the NDIS Code of Conduct, and relevant State Legislation and Public Health Orders.
Preferred Criteria
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Clinical experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders, developmental disabilities, sensory processing difficulties, physical disabilities, neurological conditions, and psychosocial challenges.
* A commitment to achieving measurable client outcomes and engaging in evidence-based practice.
* Alignment with our mission and values, acting with integrity to positively impact individuals' well-being and independence.
* Ability to build rapport with a diverse client base and provide culturally responsive, person-centred, and neurodiverse-affirming care.
