Corporate Services Manager (Maternity Leave)(Maternity Leave Position – Seven Month Contract) Garnduwa Amboorny Wirnan (Garnduwa) is the Kimberley's leading Aboriginal Sport & Recreation organisation.We drive change in remote communities, working side by side with community members to improve lives, create overall wellbeing and promote healthy and happy lifestyles.Garnduwa is looking for a Corporate Services Manager to join the Broome team now for a period of seven months.About the Role This is a short-term opportunity to cover our team member on maternity leave.The Corporate Services Manager will have the chance to demonstrate their passion and make a significant impact in supporting our remote Aboriginal communities.In this role, you will oversee the corporate functions of our organisation, including finance, human resources, asset management, and general administration.You will be instrumental in ensuring our operations are efficient, sustainable, and aligned with our strategic goals.Key Responsibilities: Manage all employment relations to ensure Garnduwa remains compliant, including end-to-end recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, induction, payroll functions, probity compliance, performance management support, and the maintenance of policies and procedures.Manage and process all finance functions within an operational capacity.Provide supervision and mentoring to the Office Coordinator.Property management, including regional offices and Garnduwa provided staff accommodation (lease agreements, property condition, asset register, etc.).Oversight of fleet management and maintenance.Manage and maintain SharePoint platform and updated document management processes.Oversight of IT management and requirements.Oversee administration of Garnduwa Governance and planning (AGM, Board of Director Meetings, Board of Director Arrangements and ORIC audit requirements).What Garnduwa is Looking For: Knowledge of the Kimberley and remote communities located within the region.Experience working with and for Aboriginal people, and respecting Aboriginal culture, community, and country.Proven well-developed understanding and working knowledge of Employment Relations (including human resources and industrial relations).Comprehensive understanding and work experience of finance management/functions, in particular via XERO Accounting platform.Exceptional leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.Exceptional organisational and management skills.Desirable Qualifications (or demonstrated detailed working knowledge) Finance ManagementHuman ResourcesAsset Management (fleet, property & equipment)Aboriginal Corporation GovernanceStrategic ManagementA fantastic opportunity to join a well-renowned, respected, and long-standing organisation, and develop your experience in Indigenous health and wellbeing.About the Benefits Stepping into this important role will see you contributing toward Garnduwa's ultimate goal of achieving long-lasting improvements in the opportunities for and participation of Aboriginal people in purposeful recreational and sporting activities.In recognition of your commitment and hard work, you will be offered an attractive employment salary up to $92,625.00 plus super and salary sacrificing!
