The Role
Reporting to the GM of People Shared Services, the Remuneration & Benefits Manager will take ownership of transforming, implementing, and managing remuneration frameworks and benefits programs. You will leverage your enhanced expertise to reshape the organisation's reward strategies to align with market trends, regulatory requirements, and business objectives.
As a strategic leader you will engage and partner with divisional and functional heads to create programs that inspire teams to deliver outstanding performance.
The ideal candidate for this newly created role will bring strong analytical and strategic thinking, with a proactive approach to improving remuneration structures to enhance employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and enhance the organisation's remuneration framework, ensuring job banding and benchmarking remain current. Lead the annual remuneration review cycle, including developing remuneration models, ensuring budget alignment, and providing reporting for executive approval. Oversee salary surveys, benchmarking, and market analysis to ensure competitive pay structures. Manage and optimise the organisation's benefits program, including negotiations with providers and administration of employee offerings. Administer short-term and long-term incentive plans, including employee share schemes. Ensure compliance with Australian employment laws, governance requirements, and industry best practices. Proven experience in remuneration and benefits management within complex or listed environments. Expertise in salary benchmarking, incentive plans, and employee benefits management. Appreciation for Australian employment law and ASX governance requirements. Exceptional analytical and project management skills with strong attention to detail. High-level stakeholder engagement, change orientated mindset and influencing skills. Relevant commerce, accounting or HR tertiary qualifications.
