It would also suit people with other financial services experience, who are familiar with risk management concepts and regulatory requirements such as Know your Customer and AML (anti-money laundering).Role Type: PermanentRole Location: Burnie, Devonport or Launceston TASWork Hours: Full-timeWhat will your day look like?Working with your Relationship Manager, you’ll manage a portfolio of customers by:Proactively developing and maintaining a detailed understanding of the customer’s business and financial needsActing in the best interest of the customer and applying a customer-centric approach, to support the customer’s business needs with suitable products and servicesProviding appropriate solutions towards account maintenance and customer needsMaintaining a well-managed portfolio compliant with all relevant policies and proceduresMaintaining control of workflows across all compliance and customer fulfilment processesCollaborating with product partners and other stakeholders to fulfil customer needsWhat will you bring?To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:Prior experience in commercial banking frontline roles and commercial lendingAbility to help manage strong customer relationships by handling service queries and solving minor issuesStrong communication skills to assist customers effectivelyAttention to detail when reviewing agreements and contracts.Ability to assess a customer's ability to fulfill their credit obligations, considering both qualitative and quantitative factors (the 5Cs of credit)Ability to manage multiple tasks and keep track of customer documentation, banking transactions, and internal communicationsFamiliarity with risk management concepts, particularly in credit risk, risk and market riskFamiliarity with regulatory requirements such as KYC (Know your Customer) and AML (anti-money laundering)You’re not expected to have 100% of these skills.
