Your role with us:
Ensure that the most effective return to work approaches are consistently applied including a dynamic approach to early intervention, developing and providing effective injury and claims management. Work closely with Managers, HR Business Partners, other internal and external stakeholders, including the Insurer and Rehabilitation Providers, to achieve positive outcomes for the business and the injured worker. The position also involves providing advice and support for non-compensable injuries/illnesses and related matters.
The position has two responsibilities, Return to Work and Injury Management. As an integral part of the team, you will be required to ensure provision of efficient and effective injury management and return to work practices and processes and provide guidance and advice to the organisation in OHS systems, policies and best practices to ensure legislative compliance is met.
How will you make your mark?
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Injury Management/Return to Work including the ability to implement, maintain and monitor relevant systems.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Provide advice to Senior Managers on RTW solutions.
Thorough knowledge of the Victorian Workers Compensation scheme.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
Undertake effective end to end case management for all Workers Compensation claims, through to providing thorough and accurate information to legal service providers.
Be approachable with a mature and confident nature.
Be able to show empathy whilst supporting our injured and/or ill people.
Work collaboratively within the Health Safety and Wellbeing team.
Experience in using SOLV Workers Compensation system would be an advantage.
Remuneration and benefits:
Total remuneration package of $104,217 at full time. (please pro rata for part time hours).
Part time hours, 4 days per week, 0.8, 30.4 hours.
Hybrid working to meet your needs. Both office days at Collingwood and work from home days offered.
Salary packaging is available up to $15,900 plus an entertainment card so you keep more of what you earn.
