What You'll Do
As a Quality Engineering Specialist, you will be applying your testing expertise and join a high performing team working on a nation-building project for the federal government. You'll have the opportunity to grow your career in software testing and quality assurance whilst receiving ongoing support and development through your journey.
Key Responsibilities Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases Identify, log, and track defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution Perform functional, regression, and integration testing Apply and improve testing methodologies within a Salesforce environment Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to refine testing strategies Contribute to continuous process improvements and test automation initiatives Here's What You Need 3–5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance Experience with test case design, execution, and defect management Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices Exposure to Salesforce testing or an interest in learning is highly valued Experience with test automation (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or similar) is a bonus Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Able to do hybrid work condition in Ballarat Technology Park Security Clearance Requirement
Given the secure nature of this role, we are seeking candidates who are Australian Citizens with an active security clearance or are eligible for obtaining security clearance. This requirement ensures that all team members are cleared to handle sensitive information and contribute to maintaining the highest standards of security in our operations.
On-call and Shift Expectations:
This position is primarily focused on managed services, meaning you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our clients' IT systems (Applications and Infrastructure). Flexibility and adaptability are key, as you may be required to work in shifts to provide continuous support. Additionally, you may need to be on call to address incidents promptly and perform after-hours deployment activities as needed. Your ability to effectively manage these responsibilities will be crucial to ensuring the seamless operation of our services and client satisfaction.
