You will:
* Guide and support a team of educators through the development and delivery of high-quality education and care programs.
* Maintain positive and collaborative relationships with the team and families.
* Provide knowledge and guidance towards the delivery of our weekly inclusive playgroup together with experienced Sylvanvale Therapists from the Clinical Services Team and Childcare Director.
We will enhance your career with ongoing professional learning and mentoring including specialist training in Epilepsy, Diabetes, Autism and Sign Language.
About you
You must have a genuine interest to be part of the local community and build lasting relationships with families.
* Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA assessed equivalent)
* Experience, knowledge and understanding of the EYLF and National Quality Standards
* Demonstrated experience and understanding in supporting children's behaviours and positive guidance techniques
* Interest, ability and experience in supporting children with additional needs planning processes
* Strong communication skills to liaise with staff, parents and management
* High level of skills in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate (needs and interest-based) programs for all children 0-5 years
* Exceptional knowledge of the National Quality Framework, Law and Regulations and the ratings and assessment accreditation process ACECQA

Requirements
A successful applicant will require a current Working With Children Check and a First Aid Certificate within an education setting. An offer will be subject to a police clearance and a pre-employment medical.
