Description We currently have an opportunity for Bid Analyst. Join our Growth and Development team and play a key role in supporting key executive decision-makers in major business development opportunities. Reporting to the Head of Estimation, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services. What You’ll Do This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including: Coordinate the overall commercial delivery and manage the commercial bid process to ensure submission timelines are achieved. Functional responsibility for the financial activities across the Bid team. Provide commercial, accounting and financial advice and assistance to internal governance. Initiate and lead commercial reviews aimed at lowering cost structures and improving commercial performance. Financial modelling and analysis for major bids. What You’ll Bring The necessary financially modelling, analytical, reporting and communication skills with sufficient industry experience. Experience providing accurate analysis, interpret the scope of works, apply relevant awards and make rational judgements regarding the accuracy of information provided. Experience ensuring tender responses are realistically priced, risk evaluated and financially viable. Successful analytical experience/capability in a similar business environment. Proficient in Excel, the ability to use Macros and Pivot tables would be advantageous. Experience repairing and analysing financial statements including developing P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow statements.
