We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Client Payments & Reconciliation Team Leader to join our team.
This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective and efficient service delivery of client payments and reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership:
Provide guidance, support, development, and mentoring to team members.
Conduct regular one-to-one meetings, team meetings, training, and coaching sessions for all direct reports.
Oversee the team in implementing projects designed to increase productivity and customer service.
Contribute to process improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance work processes and implementing changes.
Manage resource allocation to ensure appropriate coverage and quality standards.
Recruit and onboard team members as needed.
Service Delivery:
Ensure timely and accurate payment of internal and vendor payments in accordance with Service Level Agreements and policy settings.
Analyse team performance to identify opportunities for process improvement and drive improvement actions.
Provide high levels of customer experience through accurate and timely reconciliation and reporting.
Identify and mitigate risks to simplify processes and enhance customer confidence.
Perform other administrative activities to support service delivery.
Who you are:
Previous experience leading teams.
A hands-on leader who empowers team members but is also able to drill into the detail.
Experience working on high-profile projects as a key stakeholder with an understanding of project management principles.
Strong management and people skills.
Analytical and strategic thinking skills with a strong solution focus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to influence and engage in a fast-paced environment with critical deadlines.
Proven ability to deliver accurate, complete, and simplified reporting to the business and/or clients.
Capacity to forecast workloads and manage resource requirements.
Technical knowledge of accounting systems and processes.
