About the roleThe Maintenance Supervisor has primary responsibility for implementing the maintenance system for both electrical and mechanical disciplines for the Newcastle site by supporting and supervising the maintenance team in their day-to-day tasks. The Supervisor will also provide assistance to key operational employees and supervisors across the site with regards to maintenance issues.The Maintenance Supervisor must be able to develop and implement long term and short term strategies to maintain the assets in a proactive manner.You will be responsible for developing the proactive preventative maintenance system from its infancy.The outlook for the role is primarily operational and internal, contributing to the implementation of the maintenance program.
