A unique opportunity in the superfund industry, our client is restructuring its portfolio, and its complex transactions is providing a unique challenge, giving this person the opportunity to elevate their experience and knowledge in the industry. You will challenge, review and advise on new process set ups. You will work with senior stakeholders across Legal, Product, Portfolio, Operations and Finance. Your contribution will optimise the firm's tax position and its underlying systems.This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to elevate their career to the next level quickly. You will also have the opportunity to get involved in advisory work.What you'll do:Prepare direct tax compliance and regulatory reporting for Superannuation entitiesEnsure accurate and timely tax effect accounting calculations and reporting for quarterly, half-year, and full-year processesCalculate and process PAYG instalment income in a timely mannerSupport ATO and foreign revenue engagementProvide guidance to other members of the Tax team as requiredDevelop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholdersProvide tax advice to the business and implement business line strategyManage tax governance and risk management activities, including execution of tax policiesWhat you bring:Superannuation tax experienceCA/CPA or equivalent qualificationAdvanced Excel capabilitiesStrong communication skillsAbility to work independently while maintaining strong commercial acumenWhat sets this company apart:Our client is committed to fostering an inclusive workplace that values diversity.
