Position Overview:
As an Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and overseeing the construction of our modular projects. You will be responsible for translating our clients' visions into practical, sustainable, and visually appealing structures. Your expertise in architectural design, project management, and sustainable building practices will be integral to our success.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and goals.
2. Develop innovative and functional architectural designs for modular buildings, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
3. Prepare detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and cost estimates using CAD software.
4. Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from conceptual design to construction completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
5. Conduct site visits to assess project feasibility, monitor construction progress, and provide on-site guidance to contractors.
6. Evaluate and select appropriate building materials, finishes, and systems to achieve sustainability objectives.
7. Stay updated on the latest architectural trends, advancements, and best practices, and incorporate them into design strategies.
8. Collaborate with the production team to ensure seamless integration of architectural designs with modular construction processes.
9. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior architects and support staff.
Qualifications:
10. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
11. Valid registration as an Architect with the relevant licensing board (preferred).
12. Proven experience as an Architect, with a portfolio showcasing successful projects in residential or commercial construction.
13. Proficiency in CAD software, Vectorworks and other architectural design tools.
14. Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction processes.
15. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
16. Deep understanding of sustainable design principles and green building practices.
17. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
18. Attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional architectural solutions.
