Primary Duties: As our Quality Officer, you will be responsible for:
Conducting the in-process inspection of the non-conforming parts received from Production and Receiving inspection.Preparing the Non-conformance reports with accurate information.Identifying any non-conformances and coordinating with the stakeholders for action.Developing and maintaining a calibration calendar for all the measuring and monitoring equipment.Coordinating with the supplier for the timely calibration and service of all the equipment.Coordinating with the internal stakeholders to monitor and conduct the internal calibration.Periodically updating and maintaining the tools register and preparing the monthly calibration reports.Maintaining the competency database for all the staff who are responsible for conducting internal calibration.Conducting the in-process inspection of the non-conforming parts received from Production and Receiving inspection.Preparing the Non-conformance reports with accurate information.Identifying any non-conformances and coordinating with the stakeholders for action.Supporting the MRB meetings for processing of the parts as per the disposition action.Measuring and verifying the Critical to Quality and Critical to Assembly characteristics using Optical CMM and other metrology equipment to support receiving inspection.Adhering to quality management principles and processes to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Standard.Desired Skills and ExperienceAbout You To be successful in the role you need to be detail-oriented, well-organized, and have strong interpersonal and communication skills.

You will have:
Previous experience in a Quality Assurance role highly desirable.Strong ability to work efficiently under deadlines and manage expectations confidently.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships and facilitate effective communication.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Proficient knowledge of Quality principles and practices preferred.Familiarity with quality management systems and process improvement methodologies preferred.Qualifications Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering preferred.Experience: Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar role.Computer skills including Word, Excel, document management systems such as SharePoint desirable.Ability to perform CMM measurements and sound knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance is preferred.How to Apply If you are willing to take on a challenge and want to make a contribution to a proud Australian company, then we would like to hear from you.
