ANZ's Return to Work Program is designed for people who have taken a career break or have been significantly underemployed and are seeking support to transition back into the workforce.
To be eligible for the Program you will have taken a career break (two or more years) or have been significantly underemployed.
We understand the importance of balancing work, family, and other commitments. Planning, cooperation, and support are essential. Assess the resources you currently have and identify what additional support you may need.
Reflect on the hours and days you are available to work and be prepared to discuss them with us. Together, we can fine-tune your schedule to best fit your needs.

What will your day look like?
Site Reliability Engineers in ANZ Plus, use automation tools to monitor and observe software reliability in production.
* Engineer, configure and design automation to ensure we are monitoring and measuring the health of technology platforms.
* Work collaboratively with other site reliability engineers and teams across ANZ Plus to continually drive down the cost of operations and increase efficiencies.
* You will need to be comfortable with constantly learning new tools and techniques along with running proof of concept evaluations to keep us on the leading edge.
* We will turn to you for suggestions on how to improve the platforms, processes, and tools!
* Learn and share at our cloud guilds & user groups, along with industry meetups.
What will you bring?
Your ability to learn and your interest in Site Reliability are more important than the software languages and tools you know.
We are looking for a software engineer with some of the following skills:
* Experience in coding in one or more languages (Go, Java, Python, or other scripting languages).
* Some experience with common Infrastructure as Code tools, for example, Terraform or CloudFormation.
* Continuous Integration / Deployment tools, for example, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or BuildKite.
* Cloud computing across one or more major public cloud providers, for example, GCP, AWS, or Azure.
* Knowledge and interest in Kubernetes, or equivalent container orchestration tooling.
* Experience working with operations and architecture groups developing scalable and supportable solutions.
* An interest in working with common monitoring and observability tooling, for example, Honeycomb, Splunk, Dynatrace, etc.
While none of our engineers have all the skills above, they do all code!
