Job Description The Assistant Director of Sales is responsible for supporting the Director of Sales and Marketing in achieving the overall sales and revenue objectives for the hotel.This role requires an individual with exceptional leadership skills, sales acumen, and a deep understanding of the luxury hotel market.The Assistant Director of Sales manages key accounts, develops sales strategies, and works collaboratively with the sales team to increase market share.Please note this role is a 12 month fixed-term maternity leave cover position.Key responsibilities include: Assist in developing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and building long-term client relationships to achieve revenue targets and business objectives Identify new business opportunities, maintain a prospect pipeline, and conduct presentations and negotiations to close deals Lead, coach, and support the sales team, ensuring they meet individual and team targets while assisting in recruitment, training, and performance enhancement Work closely with Marketing, Events, Operations and Revenue Management teams to align sales efforts and pricing strategies with overall business goals Prepare sales reports, track KPIs, adjust strategies, and provide insights to senior management to ensure revenue targets are met Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the property and generate leads Organise and participate in sales trips, client meetings, and promotional activities to enhance the hotel's visibility and attract new business.#J-18808-Ljbffr
