About the Role If you have an interest in working within the justice system and are keen to work in the South West of the State, within a two-hour drive of Perth, we have an exciting opportunity for you to consider as Judicial Support Officer at Bunbury Magistrates Court. The Judicial Support Officer is responsible for providing support to judicial officers both in and out of court and ensures the delivery of quality advice, information, and assistance to internal and external stakeholders of the court. As part of the Magistrates Court of WA – Bunbury team, the successful applicant will be expected to: Work to improve communication and model integrity and respect in all interactions. Operate within the Department's Corporate Governance Framework, policies and procedures and ensure effective transparency and accountability of all Department activity. Operate within the chain of command to coordinate activities required to meet the Department's strategic objectives. Work collaboratively to achieve common goals and best practice and facilitate business improvements as appropriate. Eligibility May be required to work outside of standard working hours, subject to business requirements. On occasion, the incumbent of this position may be required to accompany the Judicial Officer on circuit within the regions travelling by vehicle or aircraft. They may also be required to perform relieving duties at other Court locations within the various regions. The position holder may be required to participate in job rotation at equivalent level for continued development. To be eligible for appointment to permanent positions in the West Australian Public Sector you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status in Australia.
