Energy Engineer (Building Optimisation) City FM Australia (City) provides world-leading facilities management and engineering solutions that ensure safe, successful and sustainable outcomes for our partners.
The Opportunity:
As an Energy Engineer, you will work closely with our partners to monitor and reduce energy consumption. Your responsibilities will include preparing business cases, developing engineering energy solutions, project management, and validating savings.
Key Responsibilities: Investigate and resolve energy anomalies identified by our energy management system (Spark+).Identify, assess, and recommend energy conservation measures by conducting detailed technical and commercial analysis and preparing high quality business cases.Collaborate with internal teams (maintenance managers, field technicians) and external parties (partners, contractors) to develop and deliver the initiatives.Perform measurement and verification (M&V) in line with IPMVP guidelines.Collaborate with project managers in delivering the energy initiatives and ensuring the project objectives are achieved.Prepare and present energy reports tailored to the needs of the customers and the organisation.To be considered you will have/need to: Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.Proven experience in the energy and/or building services industry, with a focus on energy management, HVAC, electrical, and control systems.Strong knowledge of building management and control system (desirable Niagara, Innotech and RDM building management systems).Demonstrated ability to identify energy optimisation and cost-reduction opportunities.Advanced skills in data analytics and regression analysis, with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and/or Python.Full Australian work rights.What we offer: Hybrid working model (WFH 2 days a week).Free onsite parking when in office.Competitive salary and rewards.Global facilities management company.Work within a fantastic team environment.If this sounds like you and you would like the opportunity to be part of a growing Australian Facilities Management business, we would love to hear from you.
