This role is integral to ensuring the successful delivery of vocational education and training within the health sector. As a Lead Educator, you will oversee the coordination of high-quality programs, ensuring they align with industry standards and comply with all relevant regulations. This role includes a 0.4 teaching load, allowing you to remain actively involved in the educational experience while fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment for students.You will also play a key role in maintaining critical relationships with external bodies, including acting as the primary liaison with the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council (ANMAC) to ensure that all required program approvals and changes are secured and compliant. By leading a team of dedicated trainers and assessors, you will drive continuous improvement and innovation in program delivery, ensuring that students receive education that meets the evolving needs of the health industry.Minimum Requirements:Registered with the NMBA as a registered nurse with no conditions related to conduct or performance and hold a postgraduate certificate in Nursing.Proven ability to manage daily training operations, including resource allocation and class coverage.Act as the primary liaison between GOTAFE and ANMAC, ensuring strong communication and effective coordination.Strong knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements, including ANMAC and AHPRA standards, with the ability to ensure all required program changes are approved by ANMAC and comply with industry regulations.Experience in developing and evaluating training programs with a focus on continuous improvement.Cert IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 or TAE40122 and relevant tertiary qualification in Vocational Adult Education.Additional Requirements:A current Police Check (date of issue is to be no more than 6 months prior to commencement date).A current Working with Children Check - Employee (or proof of application).A current Driver’s Licence (Car).How to Apply:To download the position description, apply for the role, or find more information, please visit our Careers Centre at www.gotafe.vic.edu.au/about-us/working-with-us.GOTAFE embraces diversity, inclusion and equity in building a workplace that reflects our communities.
