Parlour X seeks a fabulous all-rounder who will assist the sales team and logistics team in our retail fashion boutique, and adjacent stock rooms. Your day will involve picking and packing online orders, processing new deliveries, facilitating stock storage, stock movement, stock replenishment, and stocktaking. You will also assist with face-to-face client service.
Your key responsibilities will be:
1. Online fulfilment: pulling and packaging online sales
2. Receiving and processing incoming and outgoing deliveries
3. Quality Control
4. Inventory checks and stocktaking
5. Warehouse and ‘Back of House’ organisation and stock movement
6. Stock replenishment from warehouse to BOH to retail floor
7. Preparing inventory for sale-time, and marking down price
8. Client service
This role requires:
1. Previous experience in similar roles in a fashion environment
2. Understanding of fashion
3. Ability to fold clothes and package carefully and at a quick pace
4. Hawk eye for noticing any blemishes
5. Exceptional organisational skills
6. A professional appearance
7. A resourceful and ‘can do’ attitude
8. Ability to multi-task within a fast-paced working environment
9. Ability to stand and be on your feet, for long periods
