Job Title: Tech Retail Assistant
We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team at our new store opening in Tingalpa.
About the Role
As a Tech Retail Assistant, you will be working closely with our customers and sales team on a daily basis. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Performing technical duties and routine diagnostic procedures and processes
* Inspecting faulty items, duplicating faults and working on remedy solutions
* Processing sales and warranty orders
* Building and testing quality computer systems
* Applying quality control testing and providing excellent customer service
* Managing point of sale processes and picking/packing customer orders
* Achieving sales targets
Your Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* At least 2 years' experience in Hardware Technical Support within the IT industry
* Experience working in a retail environment (although not essential)
* Strong product knowledge on PC builds and product functionality
* Excellent customer service skills and ability to build rapport with customers
* Good communication and time management skills
* Integrity, honesty, flexibility and ability to work well under pressure
