Delivered in collaboration with alliance partners, including Diabetes Australia, Stroke Foundation, Heart Foundation, and various PHNs, this coaching-based initiative focuses on improving health outcomes and reducing risk factors before chronic conditions develop.
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Program Delivery Manager to oversee and ensure the successful delivery of the My Health for Life program across Queensland. This role will focus on program governance, stakeholder engagement, IT system management, and continuous improvement initiatives. You'd be joining a team focused on transparency and collaboration.
The Program Delivery Manager will liaise with alliance partners, health professionals, and IT teams to maintain program integrity and quality. While a clinical background (e.g., health professional) would be beneficial, it is not a strict requirement. The role requires strong leadership, operational oversight, and an ability to drive process improvements using methodologies such as LEAN.
Key Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in a relevant field with 3-5 years of experience in program delivery, healthcare, or training.
* Experience in service delivery improvement, preferably using LEAN methodology.
* Strong leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams in a complex environment.
* Ability to work with IT teams on system improvements, particularly with Moodle or similar platforms.
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills with experience liaising between multiple teams.
* Excellent prioritization, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
* Data-driven approach to decision-making.
* Experience in achieving program targets within tight timelines and budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the implementation of the program delivery plan in collaboration with the Program Director and key stakeholders.
* Provide leadership and operational oversight to the training and development team, ensuring adherence to quality standards and contractual obligations.
* Identify and escalate potential issues that may impact program delivery.
* Work closely with IT teams to manage and improve the existing Moodle-based learning management system.
* Ensure accurate data collection and reporting to meet program and funding requirements.
* Engage with alliance partners and health professionals to enhance program reach and effectiveness.
* Implement process improvements and explore efficiencies within the program.
* Represent My Health for Life at forums and industry events.
* Contribute to program planning and strategic initiatives to position the program for long-term success.
Why Join Diabetes Australia?
* Opportunity to lead a high-impact preventive health program.
* Competitive salary with benefits.
* Potential for contract extension beyond 12 months.
* Work within a supportive team and make a meaningful contribution to public health in Queensland.
