Are you a fitness professional, a great communicator with a passion for people and service?
We have an excellent opportunity for Health & Lifestyle Coordinator to join us full time working 14:7 roster for 10hours at Gove House in Nhulunbuy, NT. Flights from Darwin or Cairns to Gove, meals, accommodation and uniforms provided whilst on site.
What does a HLC do?
* Facilitating group stretching sessions, motivating employees, as well as individual health management and wellness counselling.
* Develop and coordinate sporting and social events, group exercise sessions (i.e. walking groups and circuit classes), wellness and health promotion programs, and physical rehabilitation programs for injured employees.
* Responsible for the design and delivery of injury prevention programs and initiatives.
What does it take to work as HLC?
* Ability to work 14days on and 7days off for 10hours per day
* Ability to endure remote environment in extreme heat or weather conditions
* Certificate III & IV in Fitness (nationally recognized)
* National Accreditation as a qualified fitness instructor (e.g. Fitness Australia)
* CPR and Apply First Aid certification
* Current Manual Driver’s Licence (Class C) are required
* Australian Citizenship or full Australian working rights
* Ability to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol testing and police check

Essential:
* Certificate III & IV in Fitness

Desirable:
* Yoga/Pilates Instructor certification
* Pool Lifeguard SISSS00111 Certificate
