Pre Admission clinic are seeking suitable applicants to be a part of a dynamic team. The Pre Admission team are responsible for the planning and preparation of the surgical patients for theatre.
The Pre Admission unit at Grampians Health Ballarat are currently seeking a Registered Nurse with exceptional communication skills to join the team.

Working within a multidisciplinary team you will be expected to facilitate and foster best practice and service delivery to our clients and their families. Skills and Experience
* AHPRA registration
* Clinical knowledge and skills commensurate with experience
* Organisational skills particularly with respect to time management
* The ability to contribute and practice collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities
* Assessment and planning of pre-operative patients to ensure optimisation for theatre
* Patient care for a diverse range of clientele
* Participate in the pre - admission clinics working collaboratively with the surgical teams and members of the multi-disciplinary team
* Provide accurate and timely communication within the team to ensure the best outcomes for patients
* Participate in annual performance reviews
* Commitment to ongoing mandatory education
This position is paid in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2020 - 2024. The classification is Registered Nurse Grade 2 (YP2 - YP9) which ranges from $34.17 - $48.26 per hour.
