Your opportunity
As the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Liaison Officer you will provide support and advice on the health pathways aimed at improving the health and well-being of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
By developing and maintaining networks with a range of stakeholders including local Elders, and staying up to date on current health issues, policy and programs, you will ensure that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are connected to services in a respectful and appropriate manner appropriate to their health needs.
The very nature of what we do and who we are is the real opportunity. Providing health care support in the bush is full of challenges, however, it remains the most rewarding of human experiences.
Escape the city crowds and discover the red dirt wonderland where the skies are as big as the characters you will meet. Charleville is the largest town in South West Queensland, situated on the banks of the Warrego River in the heart of Mulga Country. Charleville is a reminder that the good things in life shouldn't be hurried, it's a chance to embrace the simple things in life and a celebration of community spirit with the annual Charleville Cup Races the highlight of summer.
