Australian Citizenship required (no clearance) Under the direction of the Assistant Director Recruitment, the Establishment and Compliance Officer is responsible for a range of human resources activities including the creation of positions, circulating position reports, contract and people data management, and Working with Children Check compliance.The duties will include: Being responsible for the position management in AHL's Human Resources Management Information System (HRMIS).AHL's current HRMIS is Empower .Maintaining AHL's staffing establishment, including providing fortnightly updates to Frontline Service Directors for their cluster of hostels.Maintaining and distributing AHL's Organisation Chart (Org Chart), to be published on the intranet and distributed to Executive and stakeholder groups.Reviewing current internal processes to identify and develop improvements to current processes and procedures in place.Providing support to the HRMIS project team with the integration of the new HRMIS system. To be successful in this position you will need: In-depth understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and issues affecting First Nations peoples.Demonstrated ability to support outcomes for First Nations peoples and the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with them.Relevant experience working as an Establishment Officer/ Workforce Report Analyst or similar.Proficient in Excel with strong administrative skills and experience with HR-related systems.Ability to organise your work independently, manage competing priorities, and complete tasks within set timeframes.Excellent communication skills, including the ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Desirable Qualifications/Experience: Previous experience in a similar role.
